Default service terms
Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 August 2026
These default terms are for a proof-of-concept mediation disclosure platform. They should be reviewed and tailored before production use.
Using This Service
This service allows authorised users to access, complete, manage, and review mediation financial disclosure forms. You must use the service only for lawful mediation, case-management, and disclosure purposes.
Accounts and Access
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You must not share one-time passcodes, authentication links, or account access with anyone else. Access may be suspended or removed where necessary for security, compliance, or service administration.
Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. The platform stores the information you enter but does not independently verify financial disclosure content.
Confidentiality
Disclosure information is confidential and should only be accessed by authorised users. Parties can initially view only their own submissions unless a later sharing workflow grants read-only access to other authorised parties.
Acceptable Use
You must not:
- try to access another person's account, case, or disclosure without authorisation;
- upload, enter, or transmit unlawful, harmful, or malicious material;
- interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the service;
- use the service for purposes unrelated to authorised mediation or case administration.
No Legal or Financial Advice
The service is a technology platform. It does not provide legal, tax, financial, valuation, mediation, or professional advice. You should seek appropriate professional advice where needed.
Availability and Changes
The service may be changed, suspended, or unavailable from time to time for maintenance, security, testing, or operational reasons. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the platform develops.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service operator is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user-submitted information, unauthorised use of credentials, or use of the service outside its intended purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
Access may be ended when a case closes, a tenant disables a user, the service is no longer required, or these terms are breached.
Governing Law
These default terms are intended for use in the United Kingdom and should be tailored to specify the appropriate governing law and jurisdiction.
